On 19 October, the UAE Ministry of Finance announced Ministerial Decision No. 197 of 2026, amending parts of the country’s electronic invoicing framework. Changes include a 24-month exclusion for certain transactions between members of the same tax group from 1 January 2027 and removal of the requirement to store electronic invoicing data inside the UAE, while record-retention and tax-compliance obligations remain. Businesses, legal advisers and compliance teams can explore opportunities in e-invoicing implementation, document management and regulatory reporting. HPC can support secure data processing and compliance workflows; contact HPC for a quotation based on your system requirements, as no separate contract price was disclosed for the regulatory changes.
